The Woodpecker Endo Radar Plus is a cordless endodontic micromotor with an integrated apex locator, designed for efficient root canal preparation and enlargement while simultaneously monitoring file tip position .
3 Operating Modes – The Endo Radar Plus can be used in three versatile modes: wireless endomotor alone, apex locator alone, or combined mode where both functions work simultaneously. For combined mode, simply connect the USB cable from the handpiece to the base unit .
Brushless Motor Technology – Featuring a high-performance brushless motor, the Endo Radar Plus delivers lower noise, reduced vibration, and a longer service life compared to traditional brush motors . The motor offers a speed range of 100–1200 rpm and torque from 0.4 to 5.0 N.cm .
Precise Reciprocating Control – The reciprocation function allows fine adjustment of angles from 20° to 400° in 10° increments, reducing the risk of instrument breakage during root canal preparation .
360° Rotatable Contra-Angle – The 6:1 mini contra-angle rotates 360°, providing excellent access to difficult areas and allowing comfortable screen viewing during operation .
Built-in Apex Locator – The integrated apex locator displays the file’s real-time position in the canal. It features multiple automatic functions including Auto Start (file rotates when inserted), Auto Stop (stops at apical point), Apical Slowdown, and Auto Reverse when approaching the apex .
Cordless & Long Battery Life – The handpiece is powered by a 2000mAh Li-ion battery with 8 hours of autonomy, while the base contains a 2600mAh battery pack with wireless inductive charging . After 3 minutes of inactivity, the handpiece enters Stand-By mode to conserve power .
