Kavitan™ Plus Glass-Ionomer Cement

Kavitan Plus is a radiopaque glass ionomer cement in the form of powder and liquid. This radiopaque glass ionomer material with high compressive strength and resistance to abrasion is a suitable replacement for lost dentin as a restorative material and a liner type “base”.

Kavitan Plus is available as a two-component system: 15 g of powder + 15 g of liquid. The powder is offered in two VITA™ shades A2 and A3.

Indication

• Class V and III fillings in permanent dentition.
• Class I fillings in deciduous dentition.
• Adhesive liner under composite or amalgam fillings.
• Core buildup before preparation for full coverage restorations.
• Temporary fillings in permanent dentition.
